Odyzë is the brainchild of New York based Italian songwriter/producer Beppe Savoni. Beppe was born in a small town in southern Italy and since the first years of his life he knew music was going to be center of his life. Starting at the age of 4, every day after coming back home from primary school, he would play "rockstar" singing in front of a mirror pretending to be on the stage of a theatre. Amused and intrigued by what she saw, his mother decided to sign him up at a local music academy where he could study music and voice. During the following years Beppe performed in every major Italian city, from theatre to TV shows and earned the praise of many Italian newspapers.

Tired of studying classical music and charmed by the world of computers, Beppe convinced his parents to buy him a keyboard and an Atari 1040 and started writing his own music. After years of practice Beppe wrote and produced his first single that was released in Italy, Spain and Germany by Italian dance label Zac Music. That was the beginning of a series of singles released around Europe on different labels (Time, Votu, Sony) many of which were remixed by outstanding DJ/Producers such as Visnadi, Stonebridge and Peter Presta.

Despite the positive feedbacks coming from his music, Beppe had a dream in his heart since the age of 5 that he knew he had to at least try to accomplish: New York. In 1997 he took his first trip to NYC and, hypnotized by the energy of the city, he decided to move. Despite the initial difficulties Beppe managed to move to New York, entered college and graduated in British literature. In the meantime he started making his connections in the dance music industry and his talent was immediately spotted by independent house label Kult Records. Together with DJ Eddie Cumana, Beppe formed the production team named Dynamix and started writing and producing music that became instantly recognized and praised by the dance community all over the U.S. Together they have produced tracks such as "Never Get Me" by Nina Eve, "Don't Want Another Man" by Tina Ann and "Bodyfly" by Inda Matrix topping the Billboard Dance Chart. Dynamix's prestige led them to remix tracks for majot artists such as Toni Braxton ("Maybe") and Pink ("Stupid Girls").

Evolution, though, is the essence of an artist's growth and after operating for many years in the dance music world Beppe Savoni became Odyzë and to undertake the most challenging and emotionally charged project of his life. Blending electronic and acoustic elements and infusing a certain pop sensitivity, Odyzë creates a style of music that defies any attempt to categorize it. Recorded between New York City and Paris and entirely written, produced and performed by Odyzë, "ICONS & DREAMERS" is a collection of 9 tracks that can be seen as an emotional epic journey through every person's process of growth. Each song marks a stage of the metamorphosis from child to adult, from dream to reality, their constant collision and their mutual need to coexist. For this reason every song of the album bears a journey within itself, espousing moments of ecstatic tranquility with theatrical and dramatic crescendos. The sounds of piano, guitar and orchestra delicately interweave with vintage electronic sounds giving birth to music that radiates lyrical tension. Lastly Odyzë's voice and lyrics are sincere and transparent, making this album a testament to emotional honesty that touches every person's innermost universe.

In the closing track of the album called "Against Heaven's Motion" Beppe uses the piano that his parents bought him at the age of 5 so that he could study music and realize his dream. ICONS & DREAMERS is a testament to hard work, determination and passion preserved even through hard times and a proof that a dream can be turned into reality.
